Wedding ceremony

The essential moments of reportage wedding photography

reportage wedding photography

The real value of reportage wedding photography is the realistic documentation of the facts and emotions that involved the spouses and their guests during the wedding day.
The ceremony is the central moment of the wedding, the emotion and participation reach their peak.
I start shooting the groom who greets and welcomes guests; it is a very dynamic moment and typically the groom begins to feel a bit of excitement that often turns into a certain hyperactivity and super-fast movements: this is the moment when I begin to fully appreciate the comfortable shoes, an essential gear of a documentary wedding photographer.
The entrance of the bride, the first look between the bride and groom, the expressions of the guests. And the exchanging of rings, first kiss, the exit with the traditional throw of rice and greetings. Within this standard moments are spontaneously photographed all the small unique events, the details, the looks, enhancing the gestures that manifest an emotion, the characteristic attitudes of the guests, the oddities and spontaneous gestures. I photograph what really happens with sensitivity and creativity to make every wedding photo reportage unique.
